Echo Verde is the ideal clothing line, fashionable, wearable, comfortable, affordable, organic and socially responsible. Nobody knows the ropes of the organic clothing market like Jane Nemis of Echo Verde. Jane is one of the original pioneers of the organic clothing movement and has been designing clothing for over twenty years. She has turned that talent and experience into a label that works for everyone, vendors, customers and consumers.
Jane was the head Designer for HTnaturals up until 2009 when the company shifted focus to R&D in eco-textiles, creating Naturally Advanced Technologies. She has seen the demand for organic clothing rise and fall and she has seen the impact it has had on vendors and customers. Consumers tightened their wallets during the downturn and HTnaturals, the last bastion of affordable organic basics, had changed directions. Choices dwindled.
While many clothing lines have disappeared since then Jane knew she could create something that would keep the women she new in Shanghai employed and reach a wide base of well meaning, fashion conscious consumers. A small line with superior quality fabric and good affordable basics was the answer. Echo Verde was born. It's organic clothing that is not just for the rich and zealous, it's for everyone.
